Welcome to a unique, charming and historic ambience in an interesting art nouveau villa with an eventful history.
"The Villa" was originally built in Hanover during the 19th century. The house was designed in the typical art nouveau design and was first used as a residence. At the beginning of the last century, in 1910, "the Villa" was dismantled stone by stone and moved from Hanover to Bad Nenndorf. The house was then completely rebuilt on its current site.
In 1997, the house, which was under historical protection, was woken from its long ‘sleeping beauty’ slumber. The historic building was to return to its former glory. In a true major effort "The Villa" was fundamentally modernized and restored. It was particularly important that the luxurious ambience and the particular style in both indoor and outdoor be maintained. Thus the current day villa was turned into a modern hotel with 7 double rooms, 8 single rooms and one suite. In addition to the rooms a modern restaurant and several meeting rooms were constructed. The modernization was integrated, with much attention to detail, into the original wonderful art nouveau style of the house.
